Filaflex 60A TPU Filament is the softest and most elastic filament in the Filaflex range, achieving an impressive Shore hardness of 60A and a breakthrough 950% elongation at break. Designed for professional-grade applications, Filaflex 60A provides unmatched flexibility and elasticity, making it ideal for advanced 3D printing needs. This latest addition to the 'Filaflex' family shares the elasticity and resilience of other Filaflex filaments (70A, 82A, and 95A), returning to its original shape without deforming when its elastic limit is not exceeded.
Due to its high elasticity, Filaflex 60A is not compatible with all-metal hotends and is not recommended for Bowden-type extrusion systems. However, it offers exceptional bed adhesion without requiring a heated bed or additional adhesives, and is resistant to certain solvents and fuels. Being odorless and safe for skin contact makes it particularly suitable for wearable applications, while proper printer configuration remains essential for optimal results.
Filament Drying (CRUCIAL):
Volumetric vs. Linear Speed
✨ The Magic: When you set a volumetric speed limit in your slicer, it automatically calculates and adjusts all linear speeds (perimeters, infill, etc.) based on your current nozzle size and layer height. This ensures consistent material flow regardless of your print settings!
Unlike rigid filaments, TPU stretches when extruded, producing thinner lines. The line width will be smaller than the nozzle diameter. To ensure proper bonding between vertical walls and perimeters
