These are the first Recreus 'Sneakers' printed with our flexible Filaflex filament on a Prusa i3, with a modified glass bed and large workspace, without need of a heated bed. These legendary sneakers were created in 2013 to show the world the possibility of printing your own sneakers from the comfort of your home. A myth to exalt the power of creativity and the flexible Filaflex filament with which to unleash the imagination in the world of 3D printing. A model that is a declaration of intentions, which ignores any limits regarding our skills to create. Because 'Creativity is Flexible'.

Sneakers II

The Recreus 'Sneakers II' or 'Sneakerboots' is the evolution of the 'Sneakers I,' providing a new design improved by virtue of comfort. Like their predecessors, they are printed with the flexible Filaflex filament on a Prusa i3, with a modified glass bed and large workspace, without need of a heated bed. In addition, its design is inspired by the movies of the 80s such as 'Back to the Future,' 'Star Wars' or 'Short Circuit'. As a novelty in this new design, a tab has been added to prevent friction between the shoelaces and the instep, and the softness of the shoe can be adjusted by varying the percentage of infill. Anyone who has ever played classic '80s video games has probably fantasized at some point with the adventure of living inside an arcade game such as 'Pac-Man' or 'Space Invaders'. The Recreus pixelated shoes, printed with our flexible Filaflex filament, are inspired by Minecraft and classic video games. Using Meshmixer software, to create this amazing pixelated textured design, they can be printed with a variable degree of padding to make them softer or stiffer according to one's preference. We dare to print them!
