‘Silence’ the first book 3D printed with Filaflex
Silence: The First Tactile Book 3D Printed with Filaflex
In celebration of World Sight Day, we present 'Silence', an innovative tactile book that combines art, technology, and accessibility. Created by Jennifer Martín-Lorente in collaboration with O.N.C.E., this groundbreaking project demonstrates how 3D printing can democratize literature for everyone.
This unique book features Braille text and raised illustrations, making it accessible to both visually impaired and sighted readers. It's truly a book designed to be "felt" by everyone!
The Project

Silence: A tactile book combining 3D printing and accessibility
"It is a book of illustrated poetry taking advantage of the relief of 3D printing, to be able to read and touch, both for sighted and blind people, offering tactile communication for all".
