TPE filament Filaflex SEBS is a strong and durable TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer) rubber-based material that can bend and flex, returning to its original shape and resisting impact and fatigue. It is an ideal technical material for any industry application, combining the flexibility and durability of the flexible filament of the Filaflex range.
Due to its resistance to chemical and oxidizing agents, TPE filament Filaflex SEBS can be used for outdoor applications that require resistance to high temperatures, UV rays, or rain thanks to its impermeability. Additionally, due to its hydrophobic property, it is an ideal filament for 3D printing in high humidity environments.
The Filaflex SEBS flexible filament has a shore hardness of 90A, making it easy to print on any machine, including bowden-type 3D printers. It leaves no strings and produces a high-quality final piece, with its incredible ease of removing supports being a standout feature.
Filaflex SEBS is a versatile filament with a wide range of uses and applications, especially in the industrial field. It is a great ally for the production of flexible joints, insulation elements, marine-use elements, and applications exposed to demanding environments.
Aplicaciones
Filaflex SEBS, due to its excellent properties, is a perfect technical filament for the industry and an alternative to PVC. It is ideal for parts that need to dampen vibrations and/or retain their elastic properties even under exposure to high temperatures. It is also ideal for printing outdoor parts exposed to the elements, such as:
- Seals and joints for industrial machinery, appliances, food containers, etc.
- Footwear, rubber articles, and toys.
- Industrial articles (belts and straps, anti-vibration mounts, protectors, bottles and containers, anti-slip systems, glass encapsulation).
- Sporting goods (such as diving masks, watertight joints or fins, and skiing accessories like ski pole grips and pedals).
- Accessories for the interior of automobiles (storage compartments, soft-touch finishes, waterproof joints, protectors, floor mats, etc.).
- Protectors, grips, or coatings for controls, mobile devices, ice cube trays, stoppers, decanters, etc.
